Maragon ‘klip-klop’ their way to Nationals
Maragon Primary School riders will represent the province in next month's championship.
Maragon Ruimsig Primary School is very proud of their five riders who have been selected to represent Gauteng in their various equestrian disciplines.
The learners will represent the province at the Final South African National Equestrian Schools Association (Sanesa) Core League National Championships from 5 to 7 October at Kyalami Equestrian Park.
The riders will participate in the following categories:
Anika von Metzinger: Level 6 Show Jumping – B Team
Charnay Bean: Level 6 Show Jumping – A Team; and Level 6 Equitation – A Team
Rebekah Rebello: Level 4 Show Jumping – B Team; and Level 4 Equitation – C Team
Shani Botha: Level 1 Prix Caprilli – A Team; and Level 1 Equitation – C Team
Christiaan Prinsloo: Level 1 Performance Riding – B Team
Anika said she is not scared of the competition. “Putting in all the hours of riding is fun and rewarding,” she added. All the riders are proud of their inclusion in this team and are looking forward to the next round in October.
