National Blueberry Popsicle Day
Enjoy a delicious frozen treat on #NationalBlueberryPopsicleDay
2 September is National Blueberry Popsicle Day, and celebrates the delicious frozen treat.
In 1905, an 11-year-old boy, Frank Epperson, left a glass of fruit flavoured drink on his porch, with the stirring stick still inside. During the night the unusually frigid temperatures froze the beverage solid, and when he woke the next morning, he was greeted with the first popsicle!
No matter how you decide to celebrate today, whether it is by purchasing a box of blueberry-flavoured popsicles or by making your own – it’s sure to be a tasty treat!
