Youngsters learn through science

Budding young scientists teach their peers through experiments.

Preschool science enthusiasts at Junior Colleges Snuggles presented science experiments at their annual science fair.

The youngsters presented their experiments to their classmates and judges, and were judged on their presentations, outfits and the creativity of the science experiment. They were required to explain what their experiment was about and the process they followed to achieve a successful result.

Kellan Theunissen won first place for his experiment. Jack Hare placed second and in third place was Logan Masters. The best-dressed scientist was Alexia Watson. Megan Hunt, the Junior Colleges Snuggles principal, said children need to be taught that science is not magic; it is science.
