Two dead, two critical in Malibongwe crash

Motorists may still be affected by delays in the area.

A collision between a Hyundai bakkie and an 18 wheeler truck on Malibongwe Drive has left two dead and two others in critical condition.

Emer-G-Med paramedics were on the scene of the deadly crash on the morning of 24 August and administered life support to the critical patients. One patient was airlifted to a government hospital.

General manager, Jurgen Kotze, confirmed the information and said there might still be delays in the area as officials are collecting information for their investigations. The accident created long delays from about 7am this morning. The incident, which Kotze describes as a partial head-on collision, happened on Malibongwe Drive on the way to Lanseria.
