The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the roll-out of overhead fibre cabling by Vumatel in the ward, which includes the following suburbs: Discovery, Selwyn, Horison, Horison View, Roodepoort West, Roodepoort North, Roodepoort CBD, Georginia, Hamberg, Florida Lake, Ontdekkers Park, Florida Park, Technikon, Manufacta and Reefhaven.
“Residents of all the affected suburbs are invited to attend this meeting, as representatives from Vumatel will be doing a presentation and be available to answer questions regarding the matter,” Gert said.
Residents are urged to attend this meeting, as it will afford them an opportunity to have their questions answered, to raise their concerns as well as receive all the relevant information about Vumatel and how the process will work. They will also be receiving important contact numbers, should they need any extra information.
