Water crisis – bad news for this suburb

Still little or no water.

Although Joburg Water announced a short while ago that things are on track for complete water restoration, things are not boding so well for Wilro Park.

In a statement, the service entity wrote “The Constantia Tower is recovering well and all residents will have water. Helderkruin Reservoir is also recovering well. Pressure is increasing and residents supplied by the reservoir will start experiencing high pressure very soon.

“Wilro Park’s water tower is not recovering well. Most residents in Wilro Park will still experience low pressure to no water. There is a still a high demand for water as most suburbs didn’t have water for three days.

As soon as demand stabilises, the tower will pick up pressure as well”.
