West Rand United Football Club’s U/12 is in ninth position on the Rand Central League points log. This comes after the team lost 2–0 away to ETS Soccer Club from Ruimsig this weekend.
Their loss follows a confidence-boosting 5–2 victory against Emmarentia Football Club the weekend before.
West Rand United’s U/14 team also had a hiccup when they faced Michael Mount Football Club. They narrowly lost that game 1–0 and the loss has put the West Rand U/14 team in third position.
West Rand’s U/12 team will have a chance to redeem themselves in the coming week as they prepare to take on Panorama Football Club. The U/14 team will have a bye.
