Another power outage hits Roodepoort suburbs
Residents of various suburbs are currently experiencing a power outage.
City Power technicians have been dispatched to attend to a power outage affecting parts of Roodepoort.
The electricity went off at about 2.30pm today (Monday, 7 August). The following areas are affected: Weltevreden Park, Ruimsig, Honeydew, Strubens Valley, Willowbrook, Little Falls, Radiokop and surrounds.
1/2 Update: Roodepoort #Kloofendal power outage has been noted and tech's have been dispatched. Updates to be posted as and when available
The cause of the outage is not yet known. City Power apologises for the inconvenience and advises residents to follow their Twitter feed for updates. Some residents have reported that the power has been restored to certain streets, but most suburbs are still without power.
