I would like to respond to the story 64-year-old woman shoots two pit bull terriers to save owner’s life in the Roodepoort Record of 28 July.
No matter what happens with a pit bull attack, the people only focus on how bad the breed of dog is etc.
Now it was terrible how this woman got attacked but why does nobody look to see why this happened? If these two pit bulls had a loving home then they would not have attacked their owner for no reason.
Perhaps these two had rabies.
It is easy to blame the poor animal and hate its breed, but give us the full story.
