Discovery Primary Full Service School has been bustling with preparation for their two-night school concert this week. The stars of the show will be learners aged from five to nine years old. From coordinated dances to acrobatic dance moves, these learners have practiced to be the best on stage. Their first dress rehearsal was a test during which they performed for the senior citizens from the Bosmont Congregational Church who were invited to join them. This also gave the concert coordinators a chance to fine-tune the programme before the official show.

As this was the rehearsal before the concert, the learners were allowed to make mistakes as they got used to standing on stage and performing for a crowd which cheered and praised each item.

School principal Raymond Peters was happy the senior citizens attended the school concert.
“We acknowledge the elderly and thank them for braving such cold conditions to attend the show and cheer on the learners,” he said.
