Brickz’ brother lays a formal complaint following rape accusations

Mduduzi Ndlovu has laid an official complaint after he was allegedly threatened with rape charges hours after his brother was convicted of the same crime.

In a shocking turn of events, the younger brother of kwaito star Sipho Brickz Ndlovu is also being accused of rape.

According to reports, Mduduzi Ndlovu visited the Protea Glen Police Station to register a case against the mother of his child, whom he said has threatened to open a false rape case against him.

The local actor, who is a former boxer currently working as a banker at a major financial institution, said the mother of his 6-year-old child said she would be filing rape charges against him if he insisted on seeing the child.

The 26-year-old also alleges that the child’s mother and grandmother have gone as far as to threaten him with death should he continue with attempts to contact his child.

Police spokesperson Sonto Mahlangu confirmed the reported case, adding that Mduduzi was referred to the family court.

“The complainant was advised to refer the matter to the family court because it involves a child, so he can apply for visitation rights. We could not register the case about rape threats because it was just allegations.”

The mother of Mduduzi’s child has since refuted the claims and denies having any child with the kwaito star’s brother.

The complainant’s brother Brickz, who was convicted of rape on 7 July 2017, is expected to appear before the Roodepoort Magistrates’ Court for sentencing tomorrow.

His lawyer, Dumisani Mabunda, said the kwaito star would be appealing the guilty verdict.
