From 18 to 22 June Roodepoort Police made 68 arrests during special stop-and-search operations.
Suspects aged between 22 and 63 were arrested for various cases – possession of dagga, assault with the intention to cause grievous bodily harm, housebreaking with intent to steal, possession of drugs, shoplifting, possession of dagga, reckless and negligent driving, fraud, armed robbery, undocumented persons, public violence, contempt of court, theft and house robbery.

The suspects were charged and detained at Roodepoort Police Station. All suspects will appear in Roodepoort Magistrates’ Court soon.
