At least one person was injured when two vehicles crashed on Ontdekkers Road at Wilrogate this afternoon (23 June).
A silver Hyundai was travelling from Krugersdorp towards Johannesburg in the slow lane when the vehicle in front of it unexpectedly slowed down to the extent that the driver of the Hyundai had no option but to slam on the brakes. The bakkie behind the Hyundai then crashed into it.

The driver of the Hyundai sustained moderate injuries, while the driver and passenger of the bakkie were unscathed.
The accident has caused traffic to come to a standstill and motorists are advised to avoid the road while the scene is being investigated.
