A motorcyclist was seriously injured this morning in a collision with a bakkie.
The incident occurred at the junction of CR Swart Road and Foxglove Avenue. The clutch of the motorcycle, which was being driven by a woman, slipped, causing her to hit the bakkie ahead of her. She then fell off the motorcycle and rolled underneath a second bakkie which was driving past. She sustained a variety of injuries, some serious.
Bystanders quickly alerted officials and ambulance services who were on scene immediately. The woman was conscious when assistance arrived to transport her to the nearest hospital.

Police and JMPD officers were on scene investigating.
