Suspects hospitalised after neighbours gave them a hiding
Metro Police first on the scene.
This past Saturday (17 June) two suspects found out the hard way what residents mean when they say enough is enough.
At about 4pm West Suburbs Roodepoort Neighbourhood Watch (WSRNW) was called to an address on Van Alkmaar Street. On arrival they found two men, who allegedly tried to break into the house, badly injured.

Apparently a white vehicle dropped them off but when the men made an attempt to commit their crime, neighbours saw them. They allegedly took matters into their own hands. The police took a while to respond but the Metro Police attended immediately.
The two ‘suspects’ were beaten to the extent that they both had to be hospitalised.
