No one’s rusty at the Rusty Hook market and festival
HONEYDEW – A great way to have fun in the sun with entertainment for the whole family.
Rusty Hook Festival and Market is a real community driven fun day out.
The market is hosted at Rusty Hook every first weekend of the month. June’s instalment had families, young and old, and even some four-legged fluffy friends lapping up the wide variety of stalls.

Great live music by Karly V and No Quarter had visitors dancing to the beat of their hearts. The children had a great time too with a fun play area and a jumping castle to boot.
Stalls such as Braaied Brekkie had awesome braai goodies which made for excellent father’s day presents. Steam Punk Coffee and then some Gluhwein saw to it that everyone had warm tummies.
Indian food, boerie rolls and cocktail slushies catered for everyone’s taste.

Paws R’ Us made their presence known by showing off their success story, a rather large Pitbull. He was rescued and will soon be going to his forever home. Representatives of the organisation educated the public that just because a breed has a bad reputation, not every dog is dangerous.

All in all the market was a lovely way to wrap up the weekend with friends and family.
