Maragon Private Schools’ pupil, Graytin Pretorius, auditioned for the International Arts Talent Showcase (IATS) earlier this month. He was selected as best actor and received an official call-back to perform for Kim Meyers and Rhavynn Drummer from the United States.
Rhavynn is the casting director for Tyler Perry Studios and Kim is the founder of the Arts Convention and International Talent. They visited South Africa to scout for talent. She has provided many of the largest known agencies with direct talent for booking on Broadway.
Before an aspiring actor can perform for Rhavynn, actors will need to audition for Elsubie Verlinden, the regional director for the Arts. Graytin will be performing at Silverstar Casino on 6 and 7 October for Kim and Rhavynn.
