Witpoortjie Village celebrates Nurses Day
Residents and staff spoilt with delicious treats
12 May was International Nurses Day and the residents and staff from the Witpoortjie Retirement Village celebrated the occasion in style.
Julia Parkes from the Flower Foundation Retirement Homes group said that the delicious cake and treats enjoyed on the day were all sponsored by local businesses and they wanted to thank each and every one of them for the nice gesture.
“The role of the nurse is an honourable profession and for that, they all deserve to be saluted,” she concluded.
