Breaking: Gate motor gang connected to various cases arrested
Specialised tools found in suspects' vehicle.
West Rand communities can heave a sigh of relief after a gang of three, ranging in age between 30 and 50 and believed to be connected to multiple gate-motor thefts across the West Rand, was arrested earlier this morning (31 May).

The two males and one female were attempting to steal a motor in Jarrah Street in Roodekrans when the domestic worker saw them and gave the alarm. The suspects then fled in their Silver Grey Hyundai Atos, which has been captured on CCTV at various other incidents, but were caught by DMS Security, Dowry Security, Apcan Security and the K9-unit in Albida Place. They were found in possession of specialised gate-motor tools and alleged drug paraphernalia.

A source said the three could be connected to thefts in Honeydew, Krugersdorp, Florida and Witpoortjie and had been caught on CCTV footage on more than one occasion.
Their ages range between 30 and 50.
