Photos: Six injured in four-vehicle collision
Cause of accident subject of investigation.
Six people were injured this afternoon (22 May) in a four-vehicle collision on the N1/ 14th Avenue offramp in Constantia Kloof.
ER24 paramedics, along with other services, arrived on the scene at approximately 13.40pm. They found a large truck lying on its side on the side of the road while several other damaged vehicles were stationary across the scene.

Authorities began diverting traffic while paramedics assessed the scene where they found a total of six people who needed medical attention. The injuries they sustained ranged from minor to moderate. Fortunately, no serious or fatal injuries were reported.
Paramedics treated the patients and thereafter transported them to various hospitals in the area for further treatment.
The exact cause of the collision is not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
Motorists are advised to use alternative routes if possible.
