Sector 3 CPF has no venue to host meetings
HONEYDEW – CPF Sector 3 to host meetings at Honeydew Police Station after being barred from venue in Strubens Valley.
The Honeydew Community Policing Form Sector 3 has been left without a meeting venue after allegedly being barred from using the Strubens Valley Library.
Forum administration officer, Carmel Wassman issued a notice to the members alerting them that they were no longer allowed to host meetings at this venue.
A meeting on 17 May had to be cancelled due to this decision. The reason behind the decision is still unknown at this stage.

However, Jon Rosenberg, the spokesperson for the forum, said he had consulted one of the councillors to find out what had led to this decision.
“There is nothing that occurred that prompted [this decision]. The only reason [I can think of], and this is pure speculation, is a tightening of the bylaws,” Rosenberg explained.
Ward 85 councillor, Carl Mann said, “The library is there for everyone to use.”
He added that he had no idea of what was going on, and committed to informing the relevant MMC regarding the matter.
In the interim, Rosenberg said Sector 3 would share the venue with Sector 2 at the Honeydew Police Station.
