City Power apologises for inconvenience
The City of Johannesburg’s electricity entity, City Power, is notifying customers to prepare for a planned outage happening on 19 May.
The following areas will be affected by this outage:
• Robertville
• Stormill
• Wibsey Dip
• Putcoton
The interruption will extend from 10pm on 19 May until 6am 20 May. The interruption is necessary to allow City Power to do essential maintenance work on the network.

This maintenance forms part of City Power’s programme of constantly striving to provide better service.
Customers are urged to treat their electricity supply points as live at all times, as the electricity can be restored at any time.
The entity apologised in advance for any inconvenience caused by this interruption and urged customers who might have any queries or need more information on this outage to contact City Power’s call centre on 0860 562 874.
