Update: Hijacking shooting victim still stable
Bosch is being treated in Milpark Hospital.
Twenty-one-year-old Joshua Bosch who was shot twice in the head during a botched hijacking-cum-home invasion yesterday is still in a stable condition, his uncle, Doctor Marlin Mckay told the Record this morning (20 April).

Mckay said Bosch’s face is badly swollen and he is in a great deal of pain, but he is doing well given the circumstances. Yesterday the neurosurgeon treating Bosch said he is out of danger. At this stage there is no need for surgery, despite a fragment of a bullet being lodged in Bosch’s brain, he said.

Bosch was shot after three men had tried to hijack his father in the family’s driveway on Van der Stel Street in Florida Park.
