The officers of the various patrol units were assembled by Maharaj and Ndebele on 12 April at the station to address crime in the cluster and duties for the Easter holidays.

Captain Balan Muthan, the spokesperson for Honeydew Police Station, indicated that areas in the precinct, such as Cosmo City, needed more police presence due to continuous housebreakings.

“These operations will be ongoing to bring down crime in the whole cluster,” said Muthan.
