The Safety and Security Awareness event Discovery Community Forum recently hosted was successful, said member Marion Kelly.
The aim was to educate homeowners and their staff on how easily they can become victims of crime and how to be safer and alert at their homes and places of work.
Members of the public from Florida to Horison attended the event. They were addressed by the main speaker, Sergeant Ramosa – the Sector Two Manager from Florida Police Station – as well as Florida Police’s newly appointed station commander, Colonel Seabi, who chaired a highly informative and thought-provoking meeting and answered questions posed by the attendees.
“We would like to extend our special thanks to Sergeant Ramosa for always making time to address our community. We would also like to welcome Colonel Seabi to Florida and thank him for coming out to introduce himself. Our final thanks goes to team Dunmar for their presence at the meeting, their superb support of our community and for always going the extra mile,” said Kelly.
