A man was hospitalised after he rolled his bakkie on the Ontdekkers Service Road in Horison.

The accident took place at about 10.45am this morning (5 April). This came shortly after an alleged hijacker had been shot dead at the intersection of Mouton and Ontdekkers Roads earlier this morning. It is uncertain what caused the accident but it is alleged that the driver of the bakkie had to swerve to prevent colliding with another vehicle.
