Three suspects arrested in Florida
Suspects arrested for possession of stolen motorvehicle
Three suspects were arrested by the Florida Police during a recent stop-and-search operation.
On 29 March, members of the Johannesburg West Cluster Trio Task Team were busy with crime prevention duties on Main Reef Road in the Florida policing area. “The members spotted a vehicle with three occupants who looked suspicious. They asked the driver of the vehicle to pull over and proceeded to test the vehicle. It turned out that this vehicle was reported stolen at the Krugersdorp Police,” said Sergeant Mpho More from the Florida Police station.
The suspects, aged between 26 and 42, were arrested on a charge of possession of a suspected stolen motor vehicle. “The three of them have been detained and will appear in the Roodepoort Magistrate’s Court soon,” said More.
