The first team rugby boys of Allen Glen High School received warm-up shirts from a local gym as part of an outreach programme.
The shirts were Rugby World Cup-themed in the Springbok colours.

Rugby coordinator at the school, Gerhard van Schalkwyk, said the boys deserved this gift as they have had an extremely successful season thus far, winning all of their 26 games.
Additionally, seven U16 rugby boys have been selected to the Lions presidential side.
Viva Gym Struben’s Valley donated the shirts to the school as part of its community service.
“We forget how close the school is and it is nice to keep the support in the community,” said club manager, Jennifer da Silva.
In the past, the gym ran fitness workshops with the school’s hockey and rugby teams.
“We accept this role as a brand ambassador and think this is the start of a nice tradition,” Van Schalkwyk added.
