Stand a chance to win one of three CDs

You can win one of three copies of 'Gister se Oues'.

If you love the songs from years gone by, this is your opportunity to own a copy of the brand-new album, Gister se Oues.

This album is a compilation of the golden oldies that featured on well-known RSG presenter Fritz Klaaste’s weekly programme Sondag met Fritz.

Songs on the album include hits such as Cotton Fields by the Beach Boys, The Seagull’s Name was Nelson by Des and Dawn Lindberg, I Don’t Like Mondays by the The Boomtown Rats, Johnny Clegg and Savuka’s The Crossing and Elton John’s Rocket Man.

Fritz describes the music he plays on his programme as a good combination of the best songs from the 70s and 80s as well as songs that never made it to the top of the charts. “We take the listeners through their most emotional and intimate moments from yesteryear. I believe our brains keep the wonderful memories on top and push the less wonderful ones aside. Just one song at the right time and voilà – you feel good,” he said.

Three lucky readers can win a copy of this album. All you have to do is to send an email to adeleb@caxton.co.za with your contact details and the answer to the following question: Name one of the songs on the CD.

Closing date for entries is 3 April at 12 noon. Winners will be contacted via email.
