No arrests have been made in the recent Sycamore Street house robbery.
Honeydew police spokesperson Captain Balan Muthan confirmed investigations are ongoing. Suspects broke into a house on 23 March.
Thanks to the brave actions of a 16-year-old girl who was in the house at the time, Community Support Services (CSS) was able to interrupt the suspects.

About 24 shots were fired in a shootout between CSS and THE robbers before they fled the scene, having stolen jewellery from the main bedroom and also documents, such as passports and IDs, from the safe.

Greg Pearce, CEO of CSS, said they have not yet seen the silver Mercedes involved in the crime but the CSS team is on high alert.
