Sector 2 takes action against drugs and urges the public to help
WELTEVREDEN PARK – Sector 2 chairman, John Baisley, asks residents to participate in an action plan against drugs.
Sector 2 residents are asked to help tackle the scourge of drugs in the area.
John Baisley, Honeydew Sector 2 Community Police Forum chairman, explained that one of the action plans for the first quarter of the year was to tackle drugs.
“At the many meetings I attend with regards to crime, along with the many emails and posts [on social media] I see around crime, drug usage always is near the top of the list,” said Baisley.
Those residing and working in the suburbs bordered by Beyers Naude Drive, N1, Christiaan De Wet Road and Wilhelmina and Constantia drives are, therefore, asked to send any drug-related concerns to Sector2chairman@honeydewcpf.org.za for the information to be acted upon.
Baisley asked all emails to supply specific details, for example, a full address of where suspicious activity is taking place and full descriptions of vehicles.
“All information will be dealt with in the greatest confidence. Sector 2 we need your help, this is your chance to make a difference and make our sector safer for all who live in the area,” Baisley concluded.
