This past Friday (24 March) Roodepoort Police received a tip-off from the community that dagga was being sold from a house in Roodepoort North.

The police went to the address but found that the suspects had fled. They had to break down the door to gain entry. Five maize-meal bags and one black plastic bag containing dagga were confiscated and taken to the Roodepoort Police Station.

Brigadier Manala, the station commander, applauded the members for the success.
