Yesterday (15 March) at about 3.30pm, a three-vehicle accident occurred on the corner of Albertina Sisulu and Progress Roads.
It is alleged that a taxi and a second vehicle were travelling in opposite directions when the vehicle turned in front of the taxi. The taxi then swerved to avoid an accident but hit a third vehicle. All occupants sustained moderate injuries, and one had to be extricated with the Jaws of Life.
The accident will be the subject of an investigation by Metro Police.
