Florida Medical and Dental Centre cares

“This is our way of encouraging the community to undergo these important tests to be aware of their health status.

The Florida Medical and Dental Centre hosted a family health day this past weekend. This was part of their initiative to give back to the community. They did so by offering free services such as blood pressure, eye screening, dental checks, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, and a cholesterol checkup.

Gideon Bonde and Henry Maduka.

The centre’s administrator, Claudene Paliathan, was pleased with the number of community members who turned out for the family health day and received services that are not freely available to the under-privileged.

Jordan Thomspon.

“This is our way of encouraging the community to undergo these important tests to be aware of their health status. Our aim is to give back by offering these services free of charge to those who normally cannot afford them,” she said.

Melody Tobela and Lorna Mitchelson.

Doctors such as MS Baba and LA Khan, plus personnel from Lancet Laboratories, B’Leaf Day Spa and many more made sure to take care of each of the community members who walked through their gates.
