If you have fallen victim to an armed robbery in the past two years, between Little Falls, Wilgeheuwel and Muldersdrift, police are relying on you to nail the alleged syndicate that has been apprehended by the police.
The suspects were arrested sometime this month after an intensive undercover investigation by various police units.
Muldersdrift Police Station is now urging all victims to contact the station because the suspects are linked to several cases, targeting areas as far as Kalkheuwel.
The crimes vary from house robberies to farm attacks.
The station could not give further information about the syndicate however, they indicated that the more cases they are linked to, the longer the jail time they will receive.
Police spokesperson Warrant Officer Masedi Masedi said residents should urgently contact Constable Bambiso on 073 108 2539 or the station on 011 952 4600.
Masedi also issued tips if confronted by robbers:
- Never panic when there is a forced entry in the house
- Stay calm when approached by robbers and try to cooperate
- Avoid sudden actions whereby the attacker can be provoked
- Phone the police immediately on any of the sector numbers.
