Alert: Princess protests flared up again

Early last night (13 March) protests flared up again on Albertina Sisulu Road.
Metro Police once again closed the road when residents took to the streets to express their dismay about housing. Police feared that motorists would be pelted with rocks and businesses vandalised again. By 6.30am this morning the road was still closed but when the Record visited the area at 7.30am it was open and traffic was flowing.
Motorists are advised to stay alert in the area. The Record will update its readers throughout the day, should there be any new developments.
