Pet lovers everywhere observe National Love Your Pet Day annually on 20 February.
This day is the perfect opportunity to give your pets extra attention and pamper them, and to direct all your focus onto the special relationship you have with them.
The majority of households have at least one pet, and although dogs are slightly more popular than cats, pets are not limited to the canine and feline variety. There are quite a few people who prefer the companionship of birds, reptiles, fish or rats.
Whoever your pet companion is, you will enjoy spending a little extra time with them on National Love Your Pet Day and reap the benefits, such as stress relief and lower blood pressure.
