Photos: Taxi ends up on its side

A taxi ended up on its side after colliding with another vehicle this morning (25 January).

The incident happened at about 7am. The taxi was travelling on Ontdekkers Road in the direction of Roodepoort when it allegedly skipped a red traffic light and crashed into a vehicle travelling on Christiaan de Wet Road in the direction of Florida. The driver of the vehicle sustained moderate injuries and was taken to hospital.

For some inexplicable reason three of the four occupants of the taxi fled the scene.
