Photos: CPF thwarts hijacking
Member pursues vehicle to Bram Fischerville.
It seems there is no stopping the Florida CPF Sector 2 team.
At about 9.15am this morning (20 January) calls came through on the Florida CPF Sector 2 patrollers group about a hijacking that had just taken place on Skinner Street in Hamberg. A team was mobilised immediately.
An alert community member and ex-patroller of the Florida CPF Sector 2 team had witnessed the vehicle speeding off and gave chase. He followed it into Bram Fischerville Phase 1 where suspects dumped the vehicle and disappeared.
The vehicle was successfully recovered by 9.40am.
Florida Police along with the Florida CPF Sector 2 team assisted with recovering the vehicle.
