UPDATE: Another massive accident on Christiaan de Wet
JOBURG – Traffic is severely backed up on Christiaan De Wet Road
A women was transported to Life Flora Hospital yesterday afternoon (13 January) after the vehicle she was travelling in collided with a street pole along Christiaan de Wet Road.
JMPD Chief Superintendent Wayne Minaar who confirmed that the accident happened at 4.15pm, causing major traffic congestion for other motorists.
“The exact cause of the accident is still unknown and is currently under investigation. No one else was injured or involved in the accident”, said Minaar.
The City of Joburg Emergency Services, ER24 and members of the JMPD were also on the scene to assist.

Traffic is severely backed up on Christiaan De Wet Road, just before Clearwater Mall, following a serious vehicle accident earlier this evening (13 January).
According to onlookers, a white BMW has collided with a street light.
The exact details and number of people involved cannot be confirmed as yet.
Paramedics are on scene. Updates will follow as more information becomes available.
