Various arrests made by Police

During normal patrols carried out on 10 January, the police arrested 11 suspects in the Roodepoort Precinct.

The suspects are aged between 18 and 45. They were arrested for offences which included possession of dagga, assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm (GBH), common assault, drunkenness, shoplifting and being in the country illegally. The suspects were charged and detained at the Roodepoort Police Station.

All the suspects will appear in the Roodepoort Magistrates’ Court soon.
