Ultimate Nathan is Ultimate Champion
Ultimate Nathan wins Durban title
Roodepoort wrestler Ultimate Nathan has been crowned the Durban Pro-Wrestling InterProvincial Champion. He won the title earlier this month at the WWP’s Final Justice Show in Springs. Ultimate Nathan was up against Durban’s high-flying wrestler Matthew Hammer in a battle of acrobatics and sleek wrestling moves.

“The year has been filled with ups and downs such as losing fellow-wrestler S.A. Face but since then things have been going well, including going to Durban, where I’m in a feud with wrestling team 031 Army and their leader Nightmare. So to beat Matthew Hammer, who is one of Nightmare’s cronies and take his title is just amazing. I am really happy with the victory because he is their golden boy, and we both showed our best in the ring,” he said.
Now that Ultimate Nathan has won his second career title, he plans to use his current momentum to challenge more members of the 031 Army in order to perfect his craft. Ultimate Nathan’s goals include being an international wrestler and training overseas. He realised one of his dreams when he had a training session with former WWE superstar PJ Black.
“The 16-year-old me would have fainted, because PJ Black is such a talented wrestler. Meeting him and having a training session in which he taught us the basics and polished our skills has reinforced my belief that I am on the right path in my career,” he said.
With his career progressing at a rapid pace, Ultimate Nathan added that one of his goals before expanding his wings is to win the APWA (African Punishment Wrestling Association) Championship.
“I am a champion and I hold all the cards; I am the hottest talent in South Africa and I want the offers to come to me,” he said.
