Festive season warning – Honeydew police on high alert

As the festive season draws nearer, crime is expected to escalate during this period.

Honeydew police have started executing strategies to ensure a crime-free festive season. According to Honeydew Police Station spokesperson, Captain Balan Muthan, throughout December the police will try to maintain a presence in high risks areas and increase random stop-and- searches.

“Honeydew police have already executed all crime prevention operations pertaining to making the festive period a safe and secure one for all the community members of the Honeydew policing precinct,” said Muthan.

“Perpetrators of crime during this season, or any other, will not be tolerated.”
