Business as usual for City Power

City Power aims to keep the lights on during the Festive period

The festive season is upon us and while many residents of Roodepoort and surrounding areas will be enjoying a welcome holiday break, City Power‘s engineers and technicians will be working hard in an effort to keep the lights on.

Yumna Sheik, the spokesperson for City Power, confirmed that it would be business as usual for City Power during the festive season and holiday period.

“All our technicians and engineers will be on duty throughout December and January,” Sheik said.

Should residents experience any power outages during this time, they are urged to visit www.citypower.co.za or contact the call centre on 0860 562 874 to log queries. Cable theft should be reported by calling (011) 490 7900/7911/7553.

“City Power’s Twitter account (@citypowerJHB) can also be used to report the above matters. Residents will be updated on all City Power projects through this Twitter account as well,” said Sheik.
