Update: Second Harcourts armed robbery suspect arrested

Alleged robber caught at Princess Crossing with some of the stolen goods.

The Roodepoort police have confirmed that a second suspect has been arrested in connection with the armed robbery at Harcourts in Helderkruin yesterday (7 December).

The suspect was arrested at the Princess Crossing shopping centre and some of the stolen loot was found in his possession.

This comes after he and three accomplices committed an armed robbery at about 10am yesterday at the offices of the real estate agency. Another suspect was arrested on scene.

The two men are currently being detained at Roodepoort Police Station on charges of business robbery and being in possession of stolen goods.
