This morning (6 December) a Caxton employee, Yolande Rademeyer, had a bad run-in with a motorcycle rider who seems to be hell bent on giving the motorcycle fraternity a bad name.
She was driving to work on the Ontdekkers Road service road from her home in Florida Hills when a young motorcycle rider started to dangerously tail her. Rademeyer said every time she stopped he nearly crashed into her. His game continued right up to the CR Swart Road intersection where she gave him a piece of her mind. He stopped his motorcycle on the curb and allegedly started to swear at her. But it was when they pulled off again that he showed where his moral compass was at. He came speeding past her and allegedly on purpose broke off her side mirror and then sped off.
Although the Record knows his motorcycle’s registration number we can not publish it in full for legal reasons, but we can say that the first two letters are CS. If anyone has seen the incident or knows the rider in question Rademeyer has asked that they contact her at yolander@caxton.co.za.
