WSRNW Christmas parade warmed many hearts

An early Christmas for the area's children.

West Suburbs Roodepoort Neighbourhood Watch‘s (WSRNW) annual Christmas parade once again warmed many children’s hearts this past Saturday.

The parade started in Koeberg Extension at WSRNW’s radio room and continued through the streets of Witpoortjie with the members handing out sweets packets to children at various stops. The decorated truck sported two Fathers Christmas and was accompanied by members of the Wicked Wheels Motorcycle Club (MC) as well the Stingers, Red Heart Riders, Wolves and Soul Reapers MCs. A Roodepoort Police vehicle ensured the safety of all the participants.

The day ended with a braai at Princess Primary School where gifts were handed out to the children of WSRNW’s members.

Spokesperson for WSRNW, Frik van Zyl thanks Westgate Shopping Centre and Wicked Wheels MC for their donations, LA Cables for the use of the truck, @Live Tree Felling for the use of their trailer, Princess Primary School for the use of their grounds and Roodepoort Police.
