The festive season does not promise joy for everyone, and as you start planning your holiday, we’re appealing to you to find it in your heart to consider those less fortunate.
Angel’s Place in Discovery is currently housing eight children, and they need your donations to help make their festive season a joyous one.
The community is being asked to lend its support to Angel’s Place by donating Christmas gifts, clothing, outings during the December holidays (arranging and sponsoring a trip to the zoo, botanical gardens, movies or burgers) and special meals during this time (maybe sponsor a Christmas lunch or a New Year’s party). There are two girls starting high school next year and they need school uniforms. School stationery for all the kids is also greatly needed.
