This weekend, indulge in local art
RUIMSIG - Artist Portchie will showcase his artworks at the Alice Art Gallery this weekend.
Famous South African artist Portchie will be exhibiting his works under Sunshine From a Paint Brush on 30 October from 11am
Porchie is a painter, sculptor and designer,
“My whole fiber is made up of design. I see joy in most things, I see joy that can be derived from colour. For me joy doesn’t come in black and brown it comes in all different colors. My whole being is made up of beautiful people around me who make me smile. I think about what I can do to make them smile.”
The exhibition will be held at Alice Art Gallery, 54 Dryf Street.
The gallery is one of the largest privately owned galleries in Africa, specialising in South African artists. Alice Art Gallery represents over 100 artists with 4 000 artworks.
