Judoka make schools and club proud

Novice Judoka – those who had not taken part in any national tournaments previously – excelled at the competition. Nine-year-old Maragon Primary Schools‘ pupils Kendra Jacobs and Anneshia Kock were awarded a gold medal and silver medal respectively. Laerskool Roodekrans’ Anrich Liebenberg was awarded a bronze medal. Laerskool Horison’s CJ Schutte finished in third position with a bronze medal while Curro Krugersdorp’s Nico Nel won a gold medal.

Sensei Danie Bruwer said he was proud of his judoka and how they have improved throughout the year to reach a competitive level.
